Performance testing that makes development measurable.
Our standardized testing process establishes a baseline, tracks measurable progress, and helps guide each athlete’s next phase of development.
Why we Test
Training should do more than look productive. Performance testing gives athletes, parents, and coaches objective information to understand current abilities, document improvement, and identify areas for further development. Measurable progress also gives athletes confidence that their work is producing RESULTS.
From baseline to progress
Athletes complete standardized performance testing at the beginning & end of our training camps. Results are used to establish performance baselines, measure changes within the training cycle, and provide direction for continued development.
How Testing Works Within Our Camps:
Pre-Test —> Structured Training —> Post-Test —> Next Phase of Training
WHAT WE TEST
-
Baseline physical measurements such as bodyweight, standing reach, and more serve to track an athlete’s physical growth over time.
-
Standardized jump testing to evaluate explosive power & an athlete’s ability to produce force.
-
Standardized change of direction drill to evaluate an athlete’s ability to stop, redirect, and accelerate. This same test is completed in the NFL & NBA draft combines.
-
Using laser timing systems, this speed test measures an athlete’s ability to accelerate from a controlled starting position.
-
Combined testing results contribute to our Performance Index Score. This composite score is used to track overall development over the course of an athlete’s career.
The Performance Index score is an overall indicator of athletic qualities, athletic performance, and athletic potential.
The Performance Index Score is only available within our Performance & Elite training programs.
